July 17th, 2012 Gen 8-11

S. Gen 8: 1 “But God remembered Noah and all the animals on the boat.”
O. After almost an entire year on the boat, God hadn’t forgotten, or forsaken Noah, his family, and the animals.
A. God has never forgotten who I am. He doesn’t ever leave me or forsake me. God is consistently in my life.
P. I pray that I can remember that God doesn’t forget me. When the storms persist and attack me, I know that God is always there. He is my strength, my stronghold, my Cornerstone.

S. Gen 11:4 “Let’s build a great city with a tower that reaches to the skies- a monument of OUR greatness.”
O. Even shortly after the flood that wiped everyone out, the people had already forgotten who God was and once again making everything about their own prideful gains.
A. I don’t want to forget where God has taken me and is bringing me now. I hope that my own pride never gets to the point where I completely forget all that God is.
P. Help me God to be in constant check of who you are in my own life. I pray to always be in tune with everything you have done in me, and to never forget it.
